Introduction

Get paid to read emails is probably one of the easiest ways to make money online, and its absolutely free to join. However, the money generated is significantly much lower than other mentioned programs. Most companies rewards you with points for reading the emails, after which these points are converted into cash. Needless to say, you will probably not earn more than a few dollars every month.

That's where the referral program comes in. For every member that you refer others to join, you get paid part of their earnings as well, or based on the compensation structure. The more you refer others to join, the more you earn of course.

Using paid emails as an advertising medium - does it work?

Now, this looks as if this is a question with an obvious answer! If paid emails don't work, why do they even exist in the first place? In my opinion, paid emails is a great advertising medium if used correctly. There are many companies out there that offer paid email advertising, most of them useless.

So how do you tell if a particular company will deliver the results that you need? Here is my personal experience.

  • Pricing. If the price for a solo ad is ridiculously low, then you can really give it a miss. Don't waste your money on such programs even though they are dirt-cheap.
  • Site membership. If the total number of members are not mentioned, it is not advisable to send a solo ad to "all members". How many members does that refer to? 100? 1000? 50? You get the picture.
  • Reporting. It is ideal if the company can offer a up-to-date report where you can check the number of emails read. If the reporting is a simple '1000 emails read', it is highly questionable.

To determine if genuine people are visiting your sites through these paid emails, I recommend you to use the free Google Analytics. This tool, developed by Google, helps you to track and monitor visitors to your website. Exact and detailed information.
